We build tools that build community.
Generation Web partners with community foundations and mission-driven organizations to create digital tools that move money toward local impact.
Hero visual: real partner photography (Community Foundation campaigns, donors, board moments). Avoid stock — authenticity is the point of this page.Community Foundations are how a region gets to decide its own future.
We started building tools for community foundations because we kept seeing the same gap: foundations with deep local relationships, but software that wasn't built for the way they actually work. So we built it.
Who we partner with
Community foundations of every size, plus mission-driven organizations whose work flows through them — donor advisors, grantmakers, and giving-day organizers.
What we build for
Giving campaigns. Donor-facing tools. The on-ramps that turn intention into actual dollars in actual communities.
Why it's core to us
This isn't a side practice. It's one of two pillars Generation Web is built on — alongside our AI & GEO work for commercial clients.
Tools we've built for the mission
Each product is purpose-built — not adapted from generic donor software.
GenGives
A giving-campaign platform built specifically for community foundations. Donor experiences that convert. Back-office tools that don't make staff cry. Real campaign data showing what's working in near real-time.

A second community-focused tool is in development. We'll have more to share soon — leave us your email if you'd like early access.
How GenGives works with a Community Foundation.
Whether it's a giving day, a multi-week capital campaign, or an ongoing donor portal, GenGives gives your foundation the digital backbone — and Generation Web gives you the team to run it well.
Set up
Branded campaign hub, fund mapping, donor flows configured to your foundation's specifics. Live in days, not months.
Run
Donors give. Staff watch a live dashboard. Funds reconcile cleanly. Match challenges, peer-to-peer, and incentives all baked in.
Report
Post-campaign data, donor segments, and reusable assets for next year. Each campaign makes the next one better.

We built this for you. Not adapted from something else.
Foundation-native
Fund accounting, donor advisors, board reporting, restricted funds — modeled the way foundations actually run, not bolted onto generic donor software.
Proven on the ground
Campaign data that backs the claims. We can show you what's working at peer foundations of your size and region.
Partnership, not SaaS
You don't get a login and a forum. You get a team that helps you plan, launch, and learn — campaign over campaign.
Three ways to start.
Campaign-specific setup
Stand up GenGives for a single giving day, capital push, or seasonal campaign. Lowest-commitment way to see what it can do for your foundation.
Year-round partnership
Multiple campaigns, donor portal, and strategy support across the calendar year. The default for foundations getting serious about digital fundraising.
Co-development
For foundations with specific needs — donor advisor portals, planned giving flows, integrations with your existing tools — we build what you need.
Frequently asked
Are we too small to run a campaign on GenGives?
No. We've launched campaigns for foundations of every size — from giving days raising tens of thousands to multi-week capital campaigns in the millions. The platform scales down as well as it scales up, and our team helps you size the effort to your reality.
How does GenGives handle restricted funds and fund accounting?
Fund mapping is core to how the platform is built — not bolted on. Restricted funds, donor-advised allocations, and board-restricted dollars are modeled the way foundations actually account for them, and we'll configure it to your chart of accounts during onboarding.
Do we have to use GenGives to work with you on community projects?
No. GenGives is our flagship product for community foundations running giving campaigns, but we also do custom builds and consulting for mission-driven organizations whose needs sit outside the campaign-platform model. Tell us what you're trying to do and we'll be honest about whether GenGives or a custom path fits better.
How long does it take to launch a first campaign?
A first campaign on GenGives typically goes live in days to a few weeks, depending on your fund structure and branding requirements. Custom builds and multi-campaign partnerships scope to their own timeline — we'll give you a real one after a discovery conversation, not a generic estimate.
